Wolf Pen Gap Trail is a 9.4 mile loop trail located near Mena, Arkansas. The trail is rated as moderate and primarily used for hiking, mountain biking, and off road driving.

Wolfpen has not added more trails as the previous review stated. They have steadily been removing trails from the system. That's why a low star rating. Plus the trails are now closed Nov. through February. The trails system is also primarily for ATV riding. Huge tourism draw for the area which led to all the cabins near the trail. Favorite trails are 3,8, and 6. Improvements being made are making for a less primitive trail system and more like roads.
The Wolf Pen Gap trail system in constantly improving the trails and adding more. The US Forest Service is working with the local clubs to maintain and improve the trails. The local club members have added 11 bear proof trash cans along the trail, and are maintained by the club members. All the trail heads of ample parking and vault toilets. Maps are available at all of the local campgrounds surrounding WPG. There are cabins, lodges, tenting areas, and rv sites with full hook ups and all are reasonalbly priced. There is a mixture of trail difficulties from mild to expert, and the trails are all well marked.
