This was a beautiful rim trail. We were the only ones on the trail the day we hiked it. It's not long or hard,....it's beautiful with vistas along most of the trail. Lots of gravel/dirt roads to get to the THD but worth the effort!

Great for beginning trail runners, if you can keep focused on the trail and not stop to admire the gorgeous skyline.

This hike was worth the drive down from Kansas City. The trail is very well maintained and the view, the entire hike around the rim is spectacular. Depending on which way you drive up, all wheel or 4 wheel drive is preferable.
