This is a natural surface trail accessed from the super-busy Arkansas River Trail. You are guaranteed to see more deer than people on this short trail. That being said, the trail is not well marked or maintained. There are at least two very large trees across the trail and the brush is thick, making it somewhat difficult to get around the downed trees, and quite difficult to stay on the trail.. Some will not like this. But I found it to be a bit adventurous. The trail can be muddy after a rain since it is next to a wetland. And in the summertime, the trail can be quite overgrown and hard to follow.
