Walking

The best walk in Hot Springs, or anywhere else as far as I'm concerned. The only way to start this day at 5: 30 am. That's number one!

Beautiful trail with a lot of history. It is brick-paved, so today we had to bypass with our newborn in stroller:)

Pretty and easy to walk. Shaded for more than half of it. Several other trails nearby to branch off of if you want something with more of a wild-trail feel. We enjoyed it!

This is a nice paved walk downtown, I find it more as easy than moderate if you do not do the stairs as I know stairs can hurt some people's knees. There are trails that can take you up the mountain if you'd like.

Beautiful easy walk on paved road. It’s a great way to see bathhouse row. Not necessarily a hike but my girls still enjoyed it. They also liked seeing the hot spring up close and personal.

This is a very beautiful & historical area. Hot Springs National Park is amazing & Bathhouse Row was kinda cool. We went into each bathhouse and enjoyed reading about the history. I believe there are only two working bathouses now and the other ones were museums, a brewery restaurant, and Park building. Although the hike was not challenging, the area was well worth our time and I would definitely come back to the area.....I'll just wait until the weather is cooler though!

Neat to see the history, but I prefer less urban trails in general.

Hot Springs is one of my favorite places. This is a nice brick laid trail that gives you a "Wizard of OZ" feeling. After walking this trail, my boyfriend and I discovered a concrete table with chess pieces set up. We sat down, played chess, and enjoyed the view of Hot Springs.

Great trail, easy to walk with most of it being level and a wide brick path. It goes behind the bathhouse row in Hot Springs so it's in the city but backed by the springs area/more natural setting. Well populated.

The Grand Promenade is a perfect item on your Historic Hot Springs Exploration. It sits at the base of the mountain behind the Bath Houses and gives you a glimpse of both worlds. Are you in the woods or in a city park? Let your imagination go. It just fits in with any down town adventure.

This is more of a walk through the park than a trail. It is extremely level with paved (or brick) surfaces. It is easy to imagine women with parasols and gentlemen with bowlers strolling through the park. The walk includes a stroll down Bath House Row which hosted some of America's most notorious gangsters during its heyday in the 1920s.
