Great easy trail. It was wooded and secluded. There were places to sit and rest along the route. If you are by the waterfall it can be chilly at times and of course depending of the season.

Great trail! So fun to stay on the actual trail or go off the beaten path some... lots of people but still enough room to not feel crowded.

Great Trail, I loved the natural scenery. Though it was crowded of some sort. We saw a bunch of wild life. Children really love it! Beautiful picture backgrounds. It would be really nice to bring water shoes to walk in the creek and even a bathing suit. Loved It!!! Went on weekend and was crowded though.

Enjoyed a weekday hike. Not busy at all on the single trek dirt trails. Took the path to the left by the Emergency Access #2 and only passed one other person until the waterfall.

One of the best trails I have done in this part of the country. Lots of beautiful rock formations, a flowing stream and gorgeous waterfalls.

I absolutely love doing this trail with my son. I recommend getting there early as it tends to get crowded.

This is a really fun trail with a lot of connecting loops along a creek and a pretty waterfall at one end. It’s very well kept and also dog friendly. It tends to get very busy on the weekends so I’d go in the morning or evening if you’re planning to go on a Saturday or Sunday. I personally think it’s still fun even when it’s busy because there are enough loops and the trail itself is wide enough that it doesn’t feel crowded until you get to the waterfall. Overall I do recommend Tanyard Creek to anyone looking for a casual trail to visit close to home and I definitely recommend it to anyone who is visiting the area. I moved to this area from out of state and Tanyard is one of the places in the Bentonville/Bella Vista area that helped my fondness of the area to grow every time I came to visit family. So I guess you could say I’m a fan :)

My first visit to this trail - the creek and falls were amazing after the recent rains. Don't let the "moderately trafficked" description fool you though - today this was a heavily trafficked trail, lots of people, children, and dogs. It is near houses and traffic with very limited / overflow parking at the trail head. If you are looking for a peaceful, serene hike with fewer people or their dogs, this isn't it. Social distancing would be better performed elsewhere today!
