This crushed granite hiking trail is a pedestrian-only trail with rock bluffs on one side and overlooking views of the Crystal Bridges Museum Of American Art's north lawn and the Crystal Bridges Trail on the other. This trail runs parallel to Crystal Bridges and Dogwood Trails. The name for this trail is derived from the rock bluffs once carved into the hills to make way for a nineteenth-century railroad that was planned but never completed. The Rock Ledge Shelter offers a place to rest and enjoy nature.

This is a short but nice trail that connects to other trails around crystal bridges.
