From the Nature Conservancy's website: Bordering Pinnacle Mountain State Park is The Nature Conservancy’s newest preserve, Ranch North Woods. With 234 acres of fields and forest, breathtaking views of Pinnacle Mountain, and 1.7 miles of the Little Maumelle River, it is a rare slice of nature in the heart of the city. Open to the Public, but please note that the parking lot is gated and closes just after sundown. Please enjoy the trail and leave no trace!

Nice trail but poorly marked. Trash all over the road past the rail tracks where someone had been shooting fireworks. l plan to go back in the late fall. I don't think the area gets much attention.
