Nice, quiet nature trail looping around the mountain. Very pretty and enough of a workout to satisfy most.

The best way to do the summit, IMO. Fun scramble on the East Trail on the way up, and easy descent on the West Trail on the way down

Good work out, Amazong views, easy trail to follow both East and west side as well as a loop trail to be able to try out both and make it back to your car! 10/10 will do again!

Good rock scramble on the east summit. Glad I went up this side rather than down!

Going up the East Summit made me wonder if they blew up the east side of the mountain at some point and then just said hey let’s make a trail out of this, it was fun though

HikingGreat!

What a trail! Highly recommend parking at the west summit parking lot, has a lot more parking than the East summit trailhead and there’s a sign that if the parking lot is full, the trail is full and you have to wait for a spot to open. Take the base trail to the east summit, scurry up all of the dumb rocks that never seem to end until you reach the summit, catch your breath, then walk over to the other summit that faces the west, then walk down the much easier west summit trail and end at the parking lot. Oh and go in the afternoon when the sun is off the East summit trail because climbing up the rocks in the shade was much more enjoyable than touching the hot rocks near the top of the summit where the sun is still beating down. Really, don’t bring dogs. I left mine at home and I’m glad I did since all the dogs I saw were exhausted and there’s a warning sign saying dogs have died of heat stroke.

East Summit then half bass trail back to East Summit parking lot. I don’t know if he’s post to my page but I’m not putting in for other people – I use this to track my runs because Strava doesn’t work very well on my phone. Pretty damn hot muggy and suffocating today. And it’s only the first week of July UGH. 90 degrees and 55% humidity at the end of my run... lord knows what it was when I was exposed in the sun 30 minutes ago.

I took the base loop around the North side of the mountain. Very fun, do bring ample water in hotter weather.

This is a very beautiful trail. Going up the east side can be a little intimidating for some. Just take your time and rest as needed. Going down the west side is super easy and we seen more people once on it. Finishing by hiking around the base trail back to the parking lot was very casual.

This is NOT a moderate trail. It most Definitely needs to be marked as hard. But it was an awesome trail!!! Would not recommend to kids under 12!

Great and challenging trail! I enjoyed the east summit as I was especially surprised by how steep the incline was and the need to climb/boulder my way up. The boulders are extremely smooth at certain points making it difficult to grip with the nike combat boots I wore. Had I known about this I would had made a different choice with my footwear.

Lots of good climbing oppurtunities on the east side. The west side has a nice, long scrambling slab in the "9" section. Very fun.
