Not well-marked, not easily-accessible for hikers. Parking is very far away from the indicated trailhead. Also, Moccasin Gap Horse Trail seems to refer to the entire collection of trails in this area, not this single 2.8-mile stretch of trail.

Easily mark mainly for atv but it’s still worth the hike...

Forest service has logged the heck out of this place. Leave it to the government to screw up a good thing.

Hiked here on 02.08.20 for the two waterfalls a couple of miles in. It was a cold day, and plenty muddy two. The trails are well used and well marked. Aside from a couple of steeper than average inclines here and there, this is an easy hike, and Little Oak Falls and Stave Mills Falls are easy to get to both top and bottom of

We always have a good time when we come here. Many trails to ride and right across the highway there is a area called Macks Pines. The owners have much more acreage to ride, along with a diner and cabin/ camping area. Trails are well maintained. Only downfall has been we can't seem to find a good map of this place. Next time we go back I will upload a GPS tracking of the trails we ride.

I ride atvs here...this place has so many trails its crazy! Be sure to remember how to get back due to the many branching trails. A compass is nice here. Atvs, horseback, bikes only. You can hike but would be a very long hike to scenic areas and the atvs may be a nuisance. There is a waterfall here but is a good long ride to it. Lots of valleys, creeks and woods! There are many very steep hills on these trails. Some even hard for atvs to get up.
