Hiking

Good hike for kids (mine are 7 and 9). Some steep, Rocky, parts but they and my dog did it well. The views aren't spectacular but it is a fun hike.

Well maintained. Hiked with a 13 and 10 year old girl, plus two 41 year old parents, in 1h50m. Switchbacks require 3 out of 10 hiking skills. Pretty easy.

It’s a decent hiking trail that’s somewhat strenuous on the way up. Not much in the way of views except the forest and one lake view. Well marked; just follow the yellow markings.

My husband and I hiked this trail 3/13/20 and enjoyed it thoroughly. We wanted to add some mileage to the Falls Branch Falls trail so we combined the two. It was very enjoyable with a fair amount of up and down to it. It was overall well marked, though not well traveled which in my opinion was nice. The day we hiked it, it was pretty rainy but it didn’t affect the trail conditions much!

Not marked very well for the direction it leads you. Actually lost the trail and turned back around only to see the markings on the opposite side of the trees in the direction we were heading from the trailhead. Ended up meeting up with the red trail and followed that back. Lots of loose gravel.

Not a bad trail. Not many good lake views in the summer. Probably an awesome trail in spring and fall.

A decent amount of up, down and flat terrain. we saw 4 deer, a snake and wild flowers. The ridge is out in the sun, so prepare to get warm if you're walking in the summer. no waterfall or streams, but some lake views. my 6 yo got cranky towards the end but my 7yo did great.

I did this trail after the Falls Branch Trail. It is much more secluded. For those who wish to avoid the flocks of people everywhere, you will have to climb!
