It's a good, relatively secluded, in-town paved trail. The creek can have a lot of trash, but it's a forested area connecting Veteran's Memorial at Lake Fayetteville, the NWA Mall, and a random area in Johnson that few know about. I usually turn around before crossing 71 from the west because I don't see the point in finishing that last end of the trail when I can avoid the noise and stay in the woods. Overall, I appreciate its existence.

It's a very nice paved trail but if you do not know where you are going then you will get lost because there are other trail heads.

The "trailhead" is kinda in a weird spot, for whatever that's worth. The trail just sorta starts next to a road. No place to park and nowhere to walk up to it that isn't on a road. So, don't think that you need to start there. It's real silly. Especially since they put that new parking lot in on Gregg by the Joyce intersection. That thing is as dope as a parking lot can be.

Alright, the trail itself. For being a paved trail running through (and under) a city, it's actually pretty pleasant. The convenience of location, lots of trees everywhere , birds, and other critters running around make up for any of the slight annoyances encountered due to being in a city. Like noise pollution... or mysterious super hardcore fences topped with barbed wire that you'd think someone would care about since they went to all the trouble of putting it up but maybe they really don't care because it was knocked down and no one fixed it.

The trail dumps out at Veteran's Park (Lake Fayetteville) and gives you access to the NWA Mall. So, that's nice I guess.

All in all, it's a part of the Razorback Greenway which is a nice thing to have and it's a nice part of it at that. But it's not like it's a real nature trail. It's a very small road for people and bikes.
