Boston Mountains Scenic Loop Byway is a 80 mile lightly trafficked loop trail located near Alma, Arkansas that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, camping, and scenic driving and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Boston Mountains Scenic Drive is an 80 mile loop begining at Alma, Ark, traveling north on hwy 71 to Fayetesville, Ark. and returning to Alma on I 540. Scenic views, hiking trails, camping at state parks and much more awaits the traveler.

Pretty easy route. Took 3 year old son with no issues. Beautiful waterfall a third of the way in. Only downside, both bridges are out so can't complete in one loop.

This area of Arkansas is replete with recreational opportunity. The drive is enjoyable anytime of the year, even if you are just passing through. It better to spend a week in the area. Much opportunity
