Blanchard Springs pours out of the mountainside and into a glassy-surfaced trout pond appropriately named Mirror Lake. The lake is a great place to take the family pond fishing for rainbow trout. Nearby is a short, scenic walk around the lake and to the falls where all water exits from the caverns.

Easy peasy! We went on past the end of the boardwalk and scrambled up some rocks to find a bonus waterfall and on up to find an old service road and bluff top trail. Nice hike and kids loved it

Great quick trail with the option to continue on north of the spring you can continue up the creek bed which was an added bonus.

Beautiful hike. Trail head was a little difficult to find. once we found it though there was a lot of options. you can start it from either end. We hike it right after some severe storms the night before and the water level was really high so we couldn't cross the creek. You can get on the other side near Blanchard Spring.

This trail is super easy and relaxing, if you stick to the walkway. If you want a little more adventure and don't mind scrambling over rocks you can have a little more fun with this area. There seems to be an old, mostly washed out trail up the hill behind the placard for the springs. At the top you can find a shelter of some sort that is trying to fall off of the mountain. It's pretty neat and there's an old road the runs back down to the parking lot too.

Short stroll to the spring/waterfall. Boardwalk is wheelchair accessible. Go early & you can get a nice picture without trying to crop out all the waterfall adventurers!

This was a short little walk to a pretty falls. There was lots of room to explore near the falls, and pretty rock formations. The trail is wide, paved and easy. I wish they would label these trails better- the sign by the trailhead didn’t even say the name of the actual trail. The falls were amazing to see though!

Easy trail that does loop if you go far enough down. The actual trail was o.k. but the waterfall and mill were amazing!!!!

A lot of rain recently so the creek was really flowing. The spring is gorgeous and although it was hot that day it was very cool on this trail.

Super short walk to the waterfall from the caves. Always very cool due to the water being so cold. Gorgeous views all around. Parking can be scarce at times though.

very easy trail, mostly sidewalk, then when you get to the falls you can climb over rocks and get right up to it, there's a really nice cool breeze on a hot summer day.

I wouldn't call it a hike because all 0.2 miles of the path is on wooden planks but the waterfall is really gorgeous. Definitely worth checking out and getting in the water for a quick cool down.

My 2nd time here and it’s always beautiful !!!!!

If you’re in the area, this is a must see. I may be biased since this was the spot my hubby popped the question, but I think it’s one of the most magical places on earth! Stroll down the wooden walkway, it’s fully accessible, take deep breaths-that’s simple purity! Make sure to touch the water, the air around it gives you a hint of just how cold it is, but TOUCH it! If you’re able, instead of just taking the same path back to your car, head up the mountain (if you’re looking at the spring it’s on your left). It’s pretty steep, but also pretty neat! It leads up to an old well and road and will take you right back out to the parking lot.
