Blanchard Springs pours out of the mountainside and into a glassy-surfaced trout pond appropriately named Mirror Lake. The lake is a great place to take the family pond fishing for rainbow trout. Nearby is a short, scenic walk around the lake and to the falls where all water exits from the caverns.

I love taking this trail back to the spring! The spring-fed stream cools the air under the tight canopy of trees along the path. It's almost like being in air conditioning! Crawl along the rocks to get next to the spring...powerful!

A short little hike to a beautiful waterfall and mill. The trail and the area can be very crowded, but worth the trip to see the area.

This is a very easy, heavily trafficked trail that leads down to the spring coming from the cave. It's very beautiful and easy to find.

A LOT of folks are using this trail.....but that is what they are for. Best to go early in the day and beat the crowds!

Cave tours are nice

The paved trail, while worth the short walk up and back to see the springs pouring out of the rock, is not all that fantastic. But the several trails easily accessible from the same parking lot are beautiful and not at all crowded.

Pleasant boardwalk to a gorgeous spring. Must see when in the neighborhood.

Blanchard Springs state park has great picnic area, for fee campground, nice fishing lake and of course great cave tours, including wild cave tour. It is a destination hike.
