Take the time to make the loop from I-40 up Highway 7 to Highway 16, then to Highway 21, and back down to reconnect with I-40. Full of beautiful overlooks and quirky little towns!!! Road is well maintained, and there are several places to pull off and check out the view. just be sure you fill up before you attempt. I think I saw ONE gas station! Quite a rewarding experience!

Pleasant drive on my way to Crater of Diamonds state park. Not to winding. Enjoyed the small towns.
