This guide talks of this is if it's one trail. There are numerous trails in this park. On this map that shows leaving one section of the park and going to another. That other section only has the one loop trail. The first section has several trails and can behind in several different configurations. It can get confusing and you can become lost. However, you can never really be lost here because you just need to listen for the sound of traffic and walk toward the street. Very Beautiful trails!

Great for a trail in the middle of a city. It is easy to follow for the most part, but certain portions can lead you astray if you don't pay attention and haven't been before. Also, my dog always hikes with me and I was concerned for her paws in areas due to broken glass. Overall a good way to get out without having to travel any distance.

Great trail. First uphill stretch is the toughest portion of the hike if starting at the Allsop park entrance. Well maintained and places to sit along the way. A portion also Takes you into the neighborhood of Hillcrest, before leading you back down to the park. I always enjoy going on this hike.

Good for short "brain break" hike. For me, I sometimes add a short, short, trail run for variation. AS you walk closer to Kavanugh street side, has short portion that seems remnants of old hang area for beer or party goers. not really a threat, but may break concetration of feeling like on a calming nature bird watching hike.

Nestled in the city, you barely remember where you are when hiking. There are so many divergent trails you can take a new one each time and experience something new. Just keep track of your direction to remember how to get back from where you came. Great for pets and for a trail run.
