Lots of tourists doing the tourist thing of walking and looking at the canyon to say they have been here. Good views, too many people.

Nice, easy trail. Lots of views of the canyon. Left from and returned to the rv park to make a big loop. Also went to the Bright Angel trailhead for a total of about 7 miles.

This was an easy, paved trail that provided great views. We didn’t have a lot of time since we were passing through, but our kids enjoyed it and plenty of little places to stop and take photos.

Great for kids. It was our first time visiting the Grand Canyon. We are not huge hikers and had a 8 yr old and 11yr old hiking with us. Our daughter had a difficult time due to the heat and sun being in her face. Our son enjoyed all the rocks and how educational the walk was. Only downside was finding 15 face masks thrown on the ground.

Easy trail. Excellent views of the canyon. Lots of families and single day visitors due to proximity to Visitors Center. BTW, Visitors Center is currently closed, as are most park buildings, until further notice. Little shade so bring lots of water and dress appropriately.

There are several designated look out points for people to enjoy. A lot of people drop their things so make sure to hold onto it, more for the preservation of nature than the fact that you'll lose your stuff. The day we went was also the day that the lady fell off into the Grand Canyon and died. There are a lot of points along the paved path where people can go further in by going across the rocks and I'm assuming it's somewhere there that she fell. It must have been really tragic and traumatizing for the family, so be safe and be aware of your surroundings. Don't interrupt nature if you don't need to and be careful if you decide to venture further off the path. The trail is paved like the road the whole way. We got there around 9AM and it was very hot, pretty sure I burned, we took lots of water, and there are great views for the whole duration of the path.

This was a fairly flat paved trail right along the canyon. Be aware of the weather and be sure to pack accordingly because we had planned to hike to Hopi Point from Mather Point but a thunderstorm rolled in when we were at the Bright Angel Trailhead and forced us to turn around and head back. Overall this is a super enjoyable hike the whole family will love.
