There is a great deal to learn while you take this trail around the ruins. Be sure to pick up a loaner copy of the trail guide from the front desk when you check in. The information in the packet is extremely helpful to understanding how the people who lived here survived and what may have caused them to leave.

The lower part of the trail was closed for work they are doing to improve the trail and restore some of the ruins. There is still lots to see and do

Well-maintained National Monument with fascinating Sinagua history. Ruins are great and there is a ballcourt. You can get a guidebook at the Visitor Center.

This is one of the many gems the southwest has to offer. It was very windy today but well worth the side trip.

A great example of ancient Indian culture. The ruins are just north of Flagstaff, and next to Sunset Crater. Very nice!
