This trail was really good! As others have stated, to get the good views, make sure to go a few yards past ‘End of Trail’ sign, and go up the stairs on the right. Totally worth doing, since you’ve already come that far, with no real breathtaking views yet.

Solid pleasant in and out trail. No real views but plenty of bees buzzing around honeysuckles. Good trail to end the day.

Very easy hike that dead ends close to the top of the creek. You get a great view of the creek but not really anything else.

Nice easy trail. Make sure to go past the end of trail sign and up the stairs to the right to get the full view of the valley

Loved this trail!!! Terrain changes constantly. The end made me nervous as the last .2 m is skinny and on a steep dirt slope which is a bit challenging for cane users. At the end of trail there is “ staircase “ of red rock the view from the top of it is so beautiful. Lots of climbers use this trail for cliff access. Lots of shallow easy river crossings

I love love this trail! I’m a bit disabled and consequently scared of skinny trails on ledges. There is a trail part like this towards the end of the trail possibly in the last .2 miles. I was so upset that I sat down and cried because I did not dare to go down it but then I realized I could go very slowly backwards… It was so close to the end of Trail sign which I love! The trail was actually pretty easy except for this part very beautiful up and down through the woods over the river’s which were not to full. At the end of the trail when I conquered my fear there was also a ladder staircase out of red rocks. I climbed this to as a previous review or recommended and it was such a joy to be so high up. I loved this trail for the frequent changing to rain as well as the thick dense beautiful Coconino forest and fun river crossings! I have done a lot of trails here and I think this might be my favorite in Sedona after two months of hiking…

Good trail, definitely warm. No water in the creek bed, we went in August. Definitely walk past the end of trail and hike up the red rock stairs. The only “views” worth seeing other than the standard Sedona trail views are definitely at the top of those stairs. Probably a better hike for the cooler months or when the rains are filling the creek.

It’s a good trail, but if you go past the end like suggested in previous reviews it is amazing!

This trail followed the stream and had lots of shade. At the end of the trail there’s a marker saying “end of trail” go twenty feet past and up the red rock stairs. It is steep but the view is amazing! You had a 360 degree view of red rocks all around. Parking gets really full.

When you get to the end of trail sign go about 20 yards further up the creek bed then go right up the stair step rocks. It leads to a look out area where you can see the entire canyon. Best part of the hike!

Great trail. Family and small child friendly. It’s an easy out and back with plenty of places to stop and admire the sounds and beauty of Sedona. The trail runs along a creek that you cross several times. Depending on the time of year you may encounter much more than a light trickle of water. If I had one complaint it would be parking. There is a small pull off from HWY 89A with room for less than 20 vehicles. Multiple trail heads begin from this point. If you lack assertiveness and defensive driving skills this is not the parking lot for you. Don’t forget you need a “Red Rock Pass” for parking. They can be purchased 5 min down the road at the Sedona Visitors Center (plus you can get decent maps of trails there), or at the parking lot if the machine is working. There’s plenty of Forest/BLM/Park Rangers so buy a pass or one of them will leave you an $$$ note on your windshield.

The end offered a great view if you climb up the rocks

Limited parking, but didn't have to wait too long before I got a spot. once you get away from the highway its relatively peaceful and quiet. Not too crowded on this Monday afternoon. Nicely shaded and a cool breeze in the canyon.

Loved this hike! Get there early limited parking. Earlier review is spot on... walk past end of trail sign, turn right & climb natural steps to amazing panoramic vista.
