Very lightly traveled - rarely see more than two or three groups. Beautiful vistas and overall easy terrain.

This is a trail for good vistas and moderate amount of climbing. We took the East trail around the Willow tank for a few hundred feet of added elevation climbing. It will be in my list of favorite hikes! And so convenient/close to East Valley cities. Trails are clear and easy to follow, but there are lots of "spur" trails to misdirect a hiker. Alltrails is very helpful for guidance on staying on (and off) mapped trails

Pretty desert landscape with no one else on the trail. Too rocky for running, a few nice climbs. Could be hard to find the trail at times, check your map often.

No signs and at different points you need to decide which way to take. Didn’t find any water view. The view of the mountain is cool.

A really nice hike on a narrow trail that can be hard to follow without the map handy. But it passes through a beautiful grassy desert area, with some nice, moderate hill climbs.

Saw our first two rattlesnakes of the season on this trail... so cool! as long as you have the map uploaded it's pretty easy to stick to the path. be sure to go early, as there is not a lot of shade on the trail.

This was a beautiful rocky rolling trail with spring seepage and water running not to mention wildflowers and scenic views. We were happily surprised by this great trail and only saw a small group on horseback the entire loop. We did check Alltrails app a couple times to make sure we did not get side tracked. There are a few side trails and old OHV roads we did not explore. Sat by the running water just after the trail turns back south. We did this trail CCW. We walked but this would be a fun trail run.

We took the trail down to the Willow Springs Basin Tank and then decided to cut over to an OHV Trail and loop back to the parking lot. Had a nice little rest at the Water Basin, beautiful and peaceful area. we saw a Rattlesnake on the trail in fact almost stepped on it. I think after I screamed and jumped back that it was more afraid than I was. We followed the wash and a OHV Trail and ended up completing a 5.6 mile hike. If your not using All Trails you can get lost very easy because the trails are not well marked at all. It that reason why I didn't give it a higher rating.

Great hike but several other trails intersected it. So pay attention to the trail.

Such a beautiful trail... the west side of the loop more scenic than the east. Saw only 4 people on horseback on the trail. Some elevation, but fairly easy. The whole loop was 6.5 miles with little deviation.

Beautiful hike with varying effort levels and lots of wildlife. Only thing that kept me from giving it 5 stars was the fact that the trail was not well marked. Be sure to charge your phone in the car on the way there so you can use the map. There were lots of paths that diverted off the one I wanted and had ZERO markings. Had to check the map many times to be sure I stayed on the correct path. Saw 2 snakes (one a rattler!) a rabbit, toad, lots of lizards, bugs and birds...35 years camping, hiking and living in AZ and that was my first rattler ON the trail...cool hike! (except it was freakin hot in late August
