Fairly difficult short Trail to one of the summits on the Dixie Mountain Loop. Great views from the top as well as a birds eye view of the gravel pit below.

If you bring a dog beware of the cholla! My dog got too close to a cholla and got spines in his nose and tongue. It was awful. It took pliers to get them out.

This is one of three summit trails in this part of the Sonoran Preserve. It is only accessible from the Dixie Mountain Loop Trail. Obviously being a summit trail it is strenuous but you are rewarded with awesome views of the valley and the gravel pit that is immediately to the west.
A small memorial has been built at the summit.
