Perhaps the best known of the trails in the White Tanks, Waterfall Trail is a well maintained barrier free trail which terminates at a Waterfall. Many petroglyphs are highlighted along trail. Be aware that there is a $6 entrance fee to the park. The waterfall only flows after a recent rain.

Hikes this trail today (5/10/18) with a class of 4th graders.

Easy hike..paved half way with solid dirt trails.

Last portion are cut out rock steps and a few large boulders.

Gentle incline kn several spots.

A lot different from 20 years ago when I was here last.

Easy hike, go during the week. Usually overly crowded on the weekends. Rude city hikers, trashing trails, trashing rest sites instead of walking 5ft to a trash can and trampling vegetation off the trails.

easy hike nice all around. the waterfall area is a great place to chill.

A great medium difficulty trail! It was a cool, breezy day—just perfect. If you’re there in the summer, try to get there early in the morning. Although there are many benches to rest on, there is very little shade.

paved and well marked beginner's trial. To catch the waterfall, there must be rain the previous day.

Easy, family trail. Great for young kids. There is also a small playground just across the street of the trailhead entrance.

Easy and scenic. If you think about it, casually walk past petroglyphs is pretty amazing. Take your time and look at them.

Great family hike. 1/2 trail is paved, 0.86 mi. out, then return. At end of trail is the waterfall. If dry, can climb up for the adventurous and view the water pool at the bottom of the waterfall (cliff). Not a bike trail for MTB riders.

Amazing trail! It’s $6 a car to enter. Very cool views and the waterfall formation at the end is awesome. My 6 year old son and I brought food to eat towards the top since they had sitting areas along the way.

Nice family trail to take the kids on and just get out and be active for the day. Be sure to pack a picnic to enjoy at the end of the hike. My daughter loved seeing the frogs at the end of the trail and we did have to warn her about the bees too.

Great short trail. I hiked it with my nephew the day after Thanksgiving. We saw many petroglyphs. The Water Fall hike was a good introduction to White Tank Regional Park, since it was our first time hiking in the area. Will definitely hike again.

Pretty trail, very easy and family friendly, paved about 1/2 of the way. Go after a monsoon to see the water actually flowing. Take your grandparents & your strollers till the bench on the left hand side, then it'll be a little less smooth till you reach the waterfall. Doable in an hourish.

The first little bit is paved but then turns into natural terrain. Lots of families with small children and older folks. We enjoyed looking for petroglyphs along the route. There is a small day pass fee to enter the park but a very nice walk with a mild incline.

This trail has been recently paved half way. Now this part is handicap accessible to people using a walker or wheelchair. Great job!!!!!

This is a wonderful trail I hiked it on Sunday with my adventurous 11 yr. old. There is a riverbed that runs along the trail which I assume is where the water flows during periods of heavy rain. We hiked the river bed and it is a must for people who enjoy climbing and large boulders and general off-trail hiking. Short hike but if done right works all the muscles. Absolute must!

This trail is super for beginners. It has a wide concrete path for the first .5 miles. Then it is a groomed dirt trail from there. Dog friendly. Ends at the waterfall which only has water when it rains but looking at the rocks the water has eroded is nice. A picturesque walk
