Verde River Trail #11 spans roughly 25 miles; this map takes you to the first campsite roughly 7.5 miles in. There is a creek from the Verde River that runs very close to the campsite to filter water. Hiking approximately 1 more mile on the trail will take you to the Verde River. The trail has a lot of Chollas, so be careful where you step! Cairns throughout the trail but the wash approximately 2 miles in can be a bit confusing.

Really fun trail; lots of exposure and cacti. Great campsite at the end.
