Had a close encounter with a rattlesnake on the way down from Valley Vista View trail!

Beautiful trail. Came across 7 other hikers. Nice incline and declines throughout the trail. Used the horse trail instead of the main bridge to access the trail from the extended parking area.

This was a beautiful hike! There was a really rocky area that would have been difficult without the proper shoes though. Good incline and good distance.

Really enjoyed this hike. Beautiful scenery, and worth going all the way to the vista. A little rocky, but with the right shoes nothing to worry about. We went on a Saturday and it wasn’t very crowded. Recommend!

Great trail! Gets a little rocky with sharp turns about halfway up turnbuckle, but it’s a beautiful hike. Try going at sunrise.
