This hike isn't easy, but isn't difficult either. the view is pretty nice at the top and there are a few good picture spots. You can see a drone view of the surrounding area here: https://youtu.be/VkcwTYNUeOM

All the trails are well marked, Turnbuckle is one of my Favs, clockwise offers a workout and views at the summit are awesome.

The hike is not bad, very rocky though and it could get sketchy when you take the trails that are off the trail (but adds to your scenic hike) and if you start off the right side when you enter the trail, it will much nicer because you get to see beautiful views right away from the mountain.

Absolutely loved this trail! It’s definitely one of my favorites. We went clockwise and felt the burn going up! Definitely worth checking out. There are some areas where the path is narrow and rocky but nothing too bad. Once at the top we actually went the wrong way and continued up to another trail called Valley Vista which was .33 to the top! This area felt like we were rock climbing but it was a nice little extra workout. If you’re up for it, check it out before you loop back down.

Not as difficult as camelback but wide smooth paths and inclines are much better suited for running than the trails rated difficult in Phoenix mtn preserves and camelback. A great workout trail.

I would rate this trail more of a moderate level, the trail is clearly marked and well maintained. Either way to take the trail the workout is great, the slight change in terrain made for a fun trail running experience.

This is going to be one of my favorites. Go clockwise if you want more of a workout. At the junction you go 3/10 of a mile to a really cool view from the summit. Coming down the trail is really easy. The trail here is much better then trails at White Tanks. There are restrooms that are very clean, please help keep them that way.

My “go to” hike Saturday mornings when I’m limited on time but need to get off the concrete. Love this hike. Clockwise is the best workout with the switchbacks! The view from the top is worth it!

Just started hiking and pretty out of shape. Did this trail today and had a lot of fun. The switch backs going clockwise are no joke. Planning to do the trail again later this week. Beautiful views and lots of people on the trail in case you have questions.

It was a great hike with a nice balance of elevation changes. The view was amazing and the park was extremely clean and was well presented.
