This was a wonderful hike. Our 5yo and our dog did awesome! We did a little “off path” hiking and the views were incredible. Would absolutely do it again.

Hiked this trail with a 12,10,7 and 3 year old. They all did great, and the incline gives you a beautiful view at the top (a little work is required at the end). At 8:00 the trail was quiet, but it got pretty busy by 10:30.

Absolutely Beautiful and great views of the mountain all the way up. Trail became narrow, a bit overgrown and hard to navigate toward the top. The way down was rocky and easy to slip but fine overall. Our two kids ages 4 and 6 did great but I wouldn’t suggest this trail for most kids. We saw a large rattlesnake crossing the trail path in front of us but didn’t it bother with us. Overall it was beautiful and easy to moderate for adults.

Beautiful wildflowers, though the peak is going to be a little later than when we were there. Heavily trafficked is correct-start early to avoid the crowds. Also, go a little further to "Praying Hands," it is well worth the opportunity to sit for some time on the saddle. Bring water and sun screen, watch your footing on the return trip when you are tired-loose gravel and rocks can cause a tumble.

Fairly kid friendly until the end. We had to hold our pretty good hiker 2 year old till we got to the top. Too steep for him. But very beautiful views and cactus. Lots of yellow wildflowers.

Superstition is beautiful from any angle and one of my favorite parks on the planet. This path is perfect for light hiking with kids or the elderly. The paths are well kept and there are lots of hikers to keep you on track. There are also many other paths that connect if you have not had enough, and there are plenty of picnic areas to sit and take in the mountains by the parking lots. I gave it four stars, because no other hike in the park compares to flat iron. If you enjoy a challenge, have the right hiking shoes, and aren't afraid of heights, make sure to hit that one up!

We parked at the first parking lot on First Water Rd to add mileage, making the whole loop 3.23 miles. Starts off as a stroll through chollas and saguaros, but once you hook up to Treasure Loop the elevation gain starts. Wildflowers are blooming and the Supes are always so beautiful. Quick and easy hike, but the glutes and hamstrings just may feel it the next day :) Worth it for the views and photo ops at the top of this trail.

Good trail for the younger kids, was busy out there today. I would suggest parking at the Jacobs crossing and massacre trail head parking lot and then taking Jacobs crossing #58 trail over to treasure loop trail. It adds a little extra easy trail, but you won’t have to pay the vehicle fee. You shouldn’t have to pay to hike anywhere, our taxes should already cover all that. Hope you enjoy your hiking experiences out there, it’s a beautiful time of year to be out and about.

Great trail with views of Superstition Mtn. Connects to several other trails and we decided to add the Praying Hands trail- which is also excellent. The only drawback is that the trail was very crowded with large groups and guides. We got there at 9am, but wished we had started at 8am instead.
