Thumb Butte to East Copper Spring is a 21.4 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Prescott, Arizona that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as difficult. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

The trail is at the end of the cul de sac. After less than 5 minutes I lost the trail completely. No trail markings as far as I can see. Lots of foot tall grass and places for snakes to hide.

Scouting around for a new route down to Copper Basin Wash. Old route is impassable and chocked up with scrub oak and Manzanita.

Beautiful views off both sides of ridge, Copper Basin on the west, Prescott on the east. Current map for this page is incorrect. My trail capture is in the right place.
