I basically did the reverse of this starting on Gila, going up Pyramid, and descending on National and Telegraph. Telegraph is much more heavily trafficked than Pyramid. The views on the ridgeline are beautiful. I'm not sure if it is easier to go up Pyramid or Telegraph. Pyramid seems longer but has switchback but Telegraph is shorter with giant steps. Either way, it is a wonderful trail! Lots of options to extend or create different loops.

Great trail! I wouldn’t consider it hard though. Once you’re on Pyramid Trail, foot traffic gets light and it’s very quiet. This is a new favorite.

If you don’t mind a bit of sidewalk walking this makes a great loop. Amazing sunrise hike. It’s become a new weekly tradition for me. No two hikes are ever the same.

Exceptional workout and views. Admittedly I don't always complete it all the way down to Chandler Blvd. I do an out & back from the Telegraph Pass trailhead. I just prefer an out & back. :)
