Beautiful landscapes, but. Actually, there are more reasons to not go on this hike then there are to go. First, there are about 7 miles of bumpy gravel road to get to the trailhead. Second, there are no signs or markings for the trailhead. Third, there there is no defined trail. There are a series of rough 4x4 roads that you can use as trails, but finding the loop proved to be impossible for me. Fact is, there are so many other beautiful and more easily accessible trails in the Sedona and Flagstaff areas, that this trail is not really worth all the effort to get there. Just my opinion, but I have been hiking in this general area for almost 3 years.
