Great hike and quite challenging even on a cool 70ies low 80ies Arizona spring day. We went up through Carney Springs and clocked 8.5 miles including a couple of small detours. As someone pointed out the trail shown here does not go all the way to the top - but I’d agree that you can’t miss it. Harder than Flatiron for sure.

This GPS track stops at the saddle before either peak. 5057 is marked with an X in this map. You really cant miss it.

Not an easy hike, learn maps before you adventure. We traveled up Hieroglyphics Trail up the Springs. We saw a dead corpse of a Mountain Sheep, traveled to the Ridgeline onto Peak 5057 and down to the Balanced Rock. I prefer hiking the Grand Canyon, that’s easier!!! The views are amazing.
