Great 2 hour hike 3.5 miles. Follow the path and get to the top. Great view of the fountain . This is great one if you are looking for exercise without exhaustion. Nice double peak area to sit and grab a snack at the top. Easy parking. No restroom at trail head that I saw was only drawback.

Just all right. Kind of uninspiring, especially since there’s isn’t a single point in the trail where you can’t see a house. Definitely a city hike, but there are other trails that are better in the area. Also it’s an ankle twister if you’re not careful.

Nice view of the town at the top. Bring water and take advantage of the connecting trails.

Bring lots of water! We started around 7:45 and finished about 11:00. All of our water was gone by the end (7 smaller bottles), however it was over 100 degrees. Unfortunately there were plenty of annoying gnats this time. The trail is beautifully maintained and the views are gorgeous. Definitely worth the effort. Be careful, the last half mile (to the top) is mostly switchbacks, some of which are steeper.

Very nice one. You can actually enjoy the scenery while you hike instead of constantly watching your feet & the scenery on the journey is amazing. Easy enough to take the family in my opinion.

Beautiful trail and views. From the top you can see the fountain hills park fountain go off on the hour. Took about two hours total.

Really enjoyed it. Quite rocky with lots of gravel on the trail. Buggy but more so annoying, not bothersome. Was busy but not congested/packed.

This may be rated as moderate but I do believe it could be rated as difficult. A quarter of the way and up are mostly switch backs and it’s a worthy incline. My calves were definitely feeling it. The views are great from Fountain Hills to Four Peaks and a full view of Camelback to the Southwest. There was quite a bit of traffic even with a 5:30 AM start. Saw a few lizards. Caution that if you wear a bright hat, you may have bee visitors that follow you on the way. I don’t think I would bring me dog although several people did have dogs with them.

Great trail, gets heart rate going specially the last mile. Nice views too. parking is limited, we did see 2 rattle snakes, is that time of the year. I will definitely do this one again, just when is not hot—little animals and I don’t do well
