We just finished the trail any high clearance 4 x 4 vehicle could do it the creek was dry so it was easy to cross, doing monsoon season you might not be able to get through.
It’s pretty cool to look around at the old mine equipment that are left and there is an old Dodge truck still there.

great trail, very difficult. once post the mine and into the rocky wash be advised it is currently closed at the end due to what's looks like a rock slide. the last 20 yards to get back out of trail is close to impossible in a Jeep or other 4x4. you can get to that point and turn around but with take a few minutes to do so. other jeep clubs had posted signs telling of the blocked ending.. so beware of that blockage. other than that awesome views and great scenery

Most of it off roading with some hiking (if you choose). I drove 4x4 truck all the way to stream and then stopped to explorer. Ended up hiking up to the mine which was a nice little hike. Cool things to see all the way up. If you were to look the mine up online it would show you a rundown build structure that looks like it is about to fall any time soon. The structure is no longer there (maybe due to fire in 2012? or safety reasons) all thats left is the massive pipe, gears, and conveyor below. Knowing night time was coming I headed back without seeing the mine shaft up ahead around the bend.
