Trail is fun. About half of it is on a “main trail” that runs 10+ miles, the rest is a smaller trail to come back. Lots of parking on site, trailhead is at the back of the property and goes under 7th street.

Extremely rocky and not well marked. I tried following the alltrails map and we got off course multiple times. An invigorating hike with some views, but overall it did not meet my expectations.

This is a nice trail with beautiful views! It is rocky but is an easy trail for people who hike regularly. Go early in the hot months! And make sure to follow the map and signs

Nice quick hike after work. Mostly flat. Not too many people, just a couple on bikes. This is an easy trail run, but the pup wanted to stop and smell the flowers too often... and the gifts left behind by other dogs. Quite a few other connecting trails if you want to make it longer. You can park on the west side of 7th st at the north mountain visitors center and a there is a tunnel that takes you under the road to the east side.

Trail is slippery and wet ride with caution but slow it eazy was the key beautiful out today a lot of wildlife out

Beautiful trail that gets the heart pumping! The trail is fairly smooth. It has a good combo of flat hiking areas with some moderate inclines. Very enjoyable!

Nice little hike as an alternative to nearby Shaw Butte or North Mountain. You walk under the road and past the stables and Pointe Resort for a nice loop of the Preserve. I extended it a bit and climbed the summit of a mountain for good views. Trail 100 goes through here as well as the start of trail 25; that trail takes you around the golf course and the beginning of Lookout Mountain, I'll try that trail next!
