The first .6 miles is pretty challenging. It is pretty steep and a lot of loose rocks. As a previous reviewer wrote, if you make it past the first mile, you can finish the rest!

My dog and I hiked to the Prison Camp and rested/ate lunch. Beautiful views. Nice starting off in the desert, then into grass lands and cottonwoods. We did not see any waterfalls as we haven't had much rain or snow melting. Lots of old downed telephone/power poles strewn around the trail. Very easy to navigate. Never saw a soul.

Beautiful canyons and a few more trail choices when you get to Prison Camp.
