High quality nature trail. Mild elevation change that keeps it interesting. Low traffic was refreshing!

Walkers/runners way outnumbered by bikers! Parts of trail are closed & rerouted. Cut it a little short bc my old dog was getting tired. Nice trail nonetheless.

This was a little too busy for my taste. I don’t mountain bike a lot, and enjoyed it for the most part. Best part was seeing a deer bounce across the trail about half way around.

The first two miles were marred by all the ongoing construction. It was noisy and busy with construction trucks. The last five miles were beautiful.

Ride this trail very often. Easy access from Fort Tuthill and a great starter to anyone visiting Flagstaff and wanting to ride.

Trail interlaps with a few roads. It’s a moderate trail without to many views. There is also an extreme adventure course that seems fun right next to the trail.

Bypassed trails to scout Fort Tuthill pre-Four ofJuly - setting up, 40 or more horse trailers (one just 2 days ago). Rode through the campground ....so ridiculous ! people are like sardines packed in there, No thank you not for me but I’m camping I’m camping alone alone)

Took a cut off call Bridge Trail. Much more shade and questionably whether it’s more challenging or not by the map at the cut off of trail from soldier. It did take about 1 mile off the total trail of soldier

This is a nice place to walk with a family or just to get a work-out. It's a stroll through thinned out pine forests. No scenic views but it's a wells marked trail and it's an easy loop. The trail is very dusty and at times a little rocky. Wear light weight hiking shoes and a hat.

This trail offers a nice variation between steady hills and flat nature walks. Most of the trail is lined with ponderosa pines and has quite a few shaded spots towards the latter half of the loop. We took our two large dogs and they seemed to enjoy the hike!

Great loop Park at Gooseberry trail head ride bike north on dirt road. Turn left at windmill. You well see windmill, ride to it to pick up trails. Go slow dangerous spots!! Scenery magnificent! Easy ride. You will come last look out over mountain bluff pick up up trail marker D&B(Donner and Barrow) go left at marker . It will get pretty technical use your best judgment? It ok to walk bike. You will pick up practice trail stay on it! It will bring you out to White trail wide trail road turn left follow it past White trail head stay on main road. You will run into where you started Gooseberry Trail head !! Great loop, great look out points!! Ride with caution!! Take Go Pro!! Not a loop for racing !!

9/27/19: Nice trail for running or walking. My friend and I stopped here on way home to Phoenix to shake out legs (after hiking Humphrey’s yesterday) and tire out dogs before the drive. Also wanted to take advantage of the cool temperatures before home to the heat. Lots of birds and squirrels. Nice trails, some more technical (rocky), some nice packed dirt. Easy to access from freeway.
