Slate Trail is a 4 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Cave Creek, Arizona that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, trail running, horses, and mountain biking and is best used from October until May. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

This was my first mountain biking trail. There are several of down hill areas where you pick up good speed. Note that there are some very rocky areas. The trail is not marked very well toward the end so keep track of we're you are
