Really amazing trail. Definitely went too late in the day and was very hot! Would probably be an excellent trail for a short night hike.

The trailhead begins at the end of a dirt road, with parking for maybe just 6 or 8 vehicles. A very nice trail, but nothing spectacular. There are some nice limestone cliff formations, with a couple cool caves. It's an easy walking trail, even as it steepens near the end. Honestly the last 3/4 mile is the best part. On the way back we saw something laying in the grass, and thought it was a dead animal, but it was actually a young elk trying to hide as we approached (see photo). That was the best part of the hike.
