mid-day trail hike/run. temp 105 degrees. Very little foot traffic on the trail, no shade except for the shadow of the radio towers if you make it to the very top.

Dog Friendly Trail w/ good inclines and satisfying view of the city! Recommend going in the evening due to the no shade, and make sure to bring a headlamp in case of night hikes!

Sunset hike this evening, did the clockwise route which kicked my ass, but it was shaded the whole way up and my pup appreciated that. Amazing sunset views. Gets dark quick so bring a headlamp. Dog did fine, I brought 4L of water for us both.

Good trail for a morning hike. Enough steep parts to keep it challenging. Only knock is the stretches of loose rock that make gripping the trail hard, especially if you’re running. But overall a good loop for all types.

Nice hike! Definitely a decent sized hill that you have to go up.

A nice evening on the trail. Ended up doing the backside and return in the dark. Eating a bit warmer out there!

Another great hike. I did this trail in the evening this time. Wasn’t too busy but the parking (off thunderbird and central) was full by 5pm.

While this trail isn’t very remote-feeling for the first half, it gets a bit more secluded once you head down the south side. Nice views from the top. The second half of the trail is a lot looser than the service road portion.

Was a great workout. Definitely a decent incline for the first half of it. My pup loved it, especially the backside!

Beautiful day for a hike. The accent was really hard on my legs but worth it.

Great trail when you want some elevation gain without dealing with the congested parking/trails of Camelback and Piestewa.

A good hike. Started off 7th Ave. My kids hiked it too and did great; therefore, kid-friendly. There are a couple places that have a steep incline, otherwise this is an easier hike. 360 views of Phoenix make this worthwhile.

Nice trail with some great views of the city. A lot of the trail is old broken up concrete and asphalt, with a lot of loose rock, otherwise it would have been 5 stars.
