A nice hike and very easy. We went about two miles and turned around. It seems to mainly be a mountain bike trail and had to step aside several times to give right away to bikes. This is fine but as a hiker it takes away from the tranquility. Also somewhat boring as the views are very limited.

Beginner mountain cyclist.... not easy. Saw plenty others do it, but I am on my 2-3 ride. Easy beginning then narrows.

Best single track mountain biking in Flagstaff! Smooth, not too gnarly. Broken shade the nearly the entire way. It’s down and back but there are more trails past the upper parking lot so just keep on going if you feel like more climbing. Much more than 1000’ of elevation up there. Great for my hardtail 29er but you have to dismount in a few places, especially as you get towards the top past the gate. Watch out for hikers and bikers on the downhill. Can be crowded.

I came up from Las Vegas to run this trail and it was totally worth the drive. Super runable and very easy to follow. The single track here is just unmatched.

Saturday morning, 9:00am-ish, I was alone and saw just two other hikers and 10+ trail bikers. Trail was heavily used by mountain bikers on the day I hiked it. Overall enjoyable hike; from trail head to Sunset Point, then the 0.9mi loop, then back the trailhead. Good hike for people used walking in lower elevations.

Amazingly awesome!!!

Very nice scenery, but as previously mentioned it's a heavily used mountain bike race track. With all the trails in the area, it might be a good idea to designate this one a mountain bike track and choose another for foot traffic only.

Great way to escape the heat of Phoenix. Several bikers and joggers. But trails were wide enough to step aside with no problems.

Beautiful trail. A bit impacted by the nearby road. It is heavily used by mountain bikes, so be wary.

Fun trail but a little too much traffic .

Great trails for all skill levels. Welll marked. Only downfall, mountian bikers and their lack of ability to let you know they are coming.

Watch out for mountain bikers if you're running or hiking! Some of them think they are pros and own the trail.

The actual trail is only about 0.6 miles but connects with other trails! A bit icy and muddy today but still beautiful and fun! It was easy minus the ice and snow. Still fun!

One of our favorite moutain biking trail. Gradual climb up to Schultz tank and super fast ride with plenty of jumps, rock crossing and scenary. Great connect to many fantastic trails up in flagstaff. Lots of bikers and hikers on this trail so keep your head up. Out and back if you just do this trail 8 miles .
