Sage Peak via Red Rock Canyon Trail is a 11 mile heavily trafficked out and back trail located near Douglas, Arizona that offers scenic views and is rated as difficult. The trail is primarily used for hiking, trail running, and backpacking and is best used from March until August. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Directions from Douglas: Take Leslie Canyon Road north to Rucker Canyon. Stay on the main road, which will become Forest Road 74. Follow FR 74 to FR 74E and turn left (north. Drive about 3 miles to a primitive 4 WD road (FR 4242) that turns right and heads down over a bank. Follow this road across Rucker Creek to a parking lot. The trailhead lies just up the road.
