Safford Morenci Trail is a 22.3 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Safford, Arizona that offers the chance to see wildlife and is only recommended for very experienced adventurers. The trail is primarily used for hiking and backpacking and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Although there is a bike insignia on the trail sign at the trailhead, I do not recommend trying to ride it. It was mostly hike a bike. The south part on the downhill portion was very steep. Most of the trail was overgrown and difficult to follow. Take a map and compass or GPS, no cell service.
