Nice trail, but go early. First time we saw, after hearing it in bush, a large diamondback. Didn’t enjoy the last 1.5 miles listening/looking for snakes. A trillion flies, constant humming, we thought it was bees at first...very annoying.

Flat, worthy 3+ mile trek but don’t go past 9am after late April unless your OK dancing with a warm desert sun

Nice loop, Rocky in parts, but still considered non-strenuous. Only negative was the model airplanes that kept buzzing overhead inside the park itself. Will be back when I am looking for a quick and easy stroll.

great trail! beautiful views and great tor all ages and skills.

This trail is a nice trail if you are looking for a short, easy run or if you are recovering from a injury. If you want to do a little bit of a longer run go around once to the right and then do the run the trail back to the left. Start early if you want to avoid to the horse traffic.

Cactus galore. My poor pups and I were attacked by jumping cactus and stepped on probably 5. I turned around halfway.

Decent trail if you don’t want to drive to the park, though you still have to pay. Views of the Superstitions and Pass Mountain.

Was not on Ruidoso, but across Meridian as you can see by my track. We saw quite a bit of trash after a mile in. I’ll try north of the spillway next time.
