The trail is an easy walk. If you choose to climb to sage peak be prepared to break some brush and do a 60 degree assent. It was a rough climb, but totally worth it.

Used to go in here years ago and camp. It was great when the lake was still here. We caught trout all the time. Sad that it is gone. The trail is easy as it follows the creek and connects to other trails above. We seemed to have a streak of bad luck when coming here though as the weather always managed to cut our trips short. Barely got out of here one time in the winter as a storm was dumping snow steady, and we left in the middle of the night. Beautiful in here though. Big trees.
