Ideal trail if you want something close in the city with simple terrain - perfect for hiking, biking, and jogging, etc. Somehow I can see more wildlife on this trail (and other sections of it) than I do many days deep in the desert! Spotted vermillion flycatcher, roadrunner, multiple hawks, house finch, lesser goldfinches, an assortment of colorful lizards, and likely more that I am missing! Also, along the bridges there are these beautiful colorful tiled scenes that are so fun to spot. Populated, so not the best for social distancing. Beautiful spring day. 80 degrees. Many friendly people today. Decent pace. No stops. Always a great urban walk when you don't hit the nature trails.

Third training. Total 5k. Hip hitched and released and hitched. Too slow!

Paved option, non-paved option. Good walk when short on time.

this is a great biking trail on asphalt but not much interest as a hike when there are so many other great options near by. you can go out into the wash if it's not rainy season but again why bother when it's 10 minutes to an epic hike in the foothills

Easily accessible and impossible to get lost. If you plan to bike, let walkers know when you're passing. If you have a dog, keep it on a leash. If you walk, stay right.
