Short and sweet hike without having to cross the creek. Red Rock Crossing, or Budha Beach as it is also called, is accessible from Crescent Moon Ranch. Very easy hike, with beautiful views of Cathedral Rock. Short and sweet hike without having to cross the creek. A bit crowded by the beaches but nice walk under the trees.

Beautiful views! Yes you do need to cross the creek to get the best views and experience. Sit on a rock and let your feet dangle in the water rushing over rocks. One of my favorite Sedona experiences. It can be slippery, but hold on and go slow. So amazing! It’s worth the entrance fee and you’ll get the best pictures and make unforgettable memories!

Nice easy hike along the river. Arrive early on weekends, parking lot fills up fast.

Nice hike along the creek.

It was a scenic little hike. It was fairly easy for the kids (they didn’t swim it was pretty crowded) the only negative was the wait to get in to the park to park.

Easy hike to do with the family. Had alot of fun crossing the creek even though is was still a bit too chilly to go swimming. Got our legs wet but dried fairly quickly while walking. Definitely had more fun exploring off main trails. You will see plenty of smaller trails, especially leading to the creek. Beautiful views of the red rocks from just about everywhere in the park.

Agree 100% with Paul Rossetti. The lady at the entrance made it seem like there’s a bridge to cross the creek and go up to the rocks. We found out later that the “bridge” was a series of slippery rocks under the water, so you’d have to take your shoes off and hope you don’t fall in. Nice views, but you don’t need to pay $10 to get the same thing.

great place, easy trial with kids. The small streams and woodlogs acting as bridges was very much fun along with some adventure for kids.

not much of a trail, plus you need to pay $10 to enter the park. pretty view of Cathedral Rock at sunset but you don't need to go on the trail to get those kinds of views

Great easy hike with the cold creek next to it! It was great to take off the shoes and wade around for awhile in the creek. It’s busy, but not over crowded. The views are stellar! It was a great recovery hike after Devil’s Bridge.

Super easy hike and swim! Met a lot of sweet college kids from flagstaff who mingled with us like we have known one another for life one! People and views are great definitely enjoyed our time stopping! Be careful for cray fish some run and some stay to snap you!

As listed below, linked directions lead you to private property where a lady may sternly scold you for being somewhere you shouldn’t be. The right spot leads you to a $10/car park. Nice place to spend an afternoon!

Beware the map instructions from the app it takes you to some dead end road. Great hike once we found the crescent moon rec area!

Easy trail. Very scenic with swimming holes and shade as well as mountain views!
Make sure you don't end up on the other side of the river. This is located behind the Marriott Courtyard hotel. Turn right at the old stagecoach at the stop sign or you'll end up in a construction zone!

Beautiful location for an easy family hike and dip in the many swimming holes offered by the creek that runs down the trail. This location is very clean and well maintained. I took a day trip to Sedona with the hubby and our two little ones ages 3 and 5. We were all super comfortable on the trails and all enjoyed taking dips in the creek. The kids got to try mulberries off the trees during our hike and enjoyed stacking rocks. Will definitely go back!

Directions in app are not correct. Tried to Google and came up with completely different directions. Wasn't really sure what to do....just make sure you know where you are heading.

Nice easy scenic family trail. Water and rocks kept the kids occupied.

Easy walk, but worth it if you're looking for a cool way to spend a couple hours. The river was fast as we've had rain lately. The red rock cliffs are so pretty.

Great hike. Loved that the trail was shaded a lot of the way by the creek. Easy hike. Some great picture opportunities.

This is in Crescent Moon Ranch and such a beautiful place. I did my maternity photoshoot here. Stunning views. Very crowded during the summer, but fairly empty during cooler months. $10 to park. The views are a must see.

Nice creek! My dog loved swimming in it. $10 entrance but very worth it on a hot day! Use Google maps to get directions to Red Rock Creek (when I used the "directions" feature on the App, it took me to the wrong place.) The address is Red Rock Crossing Rd, Sedona, AZ 86017

The creek is very nice. It has plenty of water, swimming holes and has areas to set up a day camp. Happy families filled the creek.
We were lucky to find a parking spot on a cross street nearby. The parking lot was full. We got there at 11am.
It made for a nice day. However, I'm not sure I will go back. We walked into the creek hearing loud music, as if we were going go a pool party in Las Vegas. We didn't know where it was coming from until we approached the creek...there was a DJ! He played all types of music: hip hop, mariachi, today's top hits, etc. Didn't expect that.
There are signs indicating no glass allowed but there was glass. The creek is VERY slippery due to moss build-up. I watched a guy slip 3 times with glass bottles in his hand. Not OK. That could cause for a serious bad day for multiple people.
Next time I go, it'll be on a week day, before the crowd.

Not really a hike but a very lovely walk to the river. Some beautiful views at the river itself and relatively low traffic.

Not a hike in my opinion, but still one of my favorite places to visit in the summer time if you want to cool off in the Creek. Red Rock Crossing is often less crowded than Slide Rock (and typically with less children). The path along the Creek is wide and surrounded by Cottonwood trees. The park has picnic tables, grass, bathrooms, verandas, and a historic water mill. It costs $7 per car, or if you walk in, it is $2 per person. But there is a way to avoid the ticket booth lady and enter the park from the side fence...or so I have heard...
Whether walking along the Creek, sunbathing on the red rocks, or soaking in the water, this is a peaceful place to spend a lazy Saturday afternoon.

Beautiful red rock formations with the sound of running water. Easy, level hike. Can deviate at the end of the "real" trail to climb to a higher elevation and get a nice panorama.
