Good trail but not great. Maybe it was the heat (100F), but this seemed kind of boring. Saw some small lizards and views ok, but not spectacular. If you do the loop and want a more gradual climb to peak, go CCW. We did CW and it was steeper.

Free parking. Trail gets you really close to lost Dutchman mountains! Worth parking here and walking into the state park. Lots of lizards and wildflowers!

Easy (free) parking and an overall great hike. Best views of the Superstition Mountains during the whole hike! Saw one rattlesnake while I was out so be careful.

We added on a little so I could take my friend on part of flat iron to see what it’s like, but the trail was beautiful! So many wild flowers!

Gorgeous nature-walk/hike. A carpet of yellow wild daisies flows right up to the cathedral like peaks of Superstition’s face. Jack rabbits hopping. Wide paths, very gradual until the toward the top of the loop when it climbs a bit and the path gets rockier. Great for dogs. Keep watch on the trail app. Is easy to take a different path as many cross often.

Very easy to follow trail. There is absolutely no way you can get lost. Very pretty views and a great place to relax and have lunch. (there is a bench on top). I would recommend this hike for dogs.

We actually did Treasure Loop #56 to Prospector’s View #57 to Jacob’s Crosscut #58. This is my favorite spring hike! It’s a nice moderate hike with prolific wildflowers set against the stunning Superstition Mountains! Just beautiful !!

Beautiful trail! Of course everything is beautiful in this great weather when everything is green after the rain. The trail is very easy to follow if you know where you’re going: follow Jacob’s Crosscut to Prospectors View to Treasure Loop and back to Jacobs Crosscut. It was a fairly easy trail, the prospectors view part is a consistent incline and where I think it gets its moderate rating. I left early and hardly saw anyone till the very end. It was just lovely today. I’m glad I tried something new.

Very nice trail. One of the more “livelier” trails I’ve been on. Saw tons of birds (including roadrunners and hummingbirds,) butterflies, and mountain flowers. I would say 75% of the time you can walk shoulder to shoulder with someone which is a nice change when comparing this to other trails. Nice incline towards the middle of hike, definitely earned its “moderate” rating.
