HikingGreat!

Outstanding trail, only about 10 minutes from downtown Tucson. A fantastic place to be to watch a sunset.

Nice easy trail of you don't mind being near a road, but light traffic.

Nice trails, pretty quiet and good scenery. The first time I visited this preserve I just did the prescribed alltrails route. Today, my second time visiting I took the yellow slingshot trail where I saw an awesome crested saguaro. Also went to the top of the Bacitracin Summit, a short spur (which I almost didn't do out of laziness - but I"m so glad I did!) where there is a gorgeous solitary bench with a beautiful nature themed mosaic. Upon doing these extra trails I bumped this preserve up from a 4 to a 5, with the new fun elements I discovered. Follow my instagram for more adventures @julie_journeys

Easy to get to (just off Anklam) and pretty enough. Downer is that you can see busy roads (Speedway and Silverbell perhaps) and that dampens the experience. And views of Tucson better from Tumamoc. Today Edwin and I almost stepped on a rattlesnake on the way out! We just did an out and back as loop would have been too long and not worth it given the other factors. Still, glad we tried it.

Pretty good trail and a lot of great scenery with the cacti. No shade to speakers and a good amount of flat and hilly parts

This was a lovely 3-mile or so trail. Dog friendly, but watch out for your friend's feet -- there was a lot of broken glass near the trailhead. Some rocky spots, you definitely want to be aware of your feet. Good parking.

This hike was easy. It gets very rocky and steep near the end especially when you climb on top of that final hill. There’s more to the trail system than the highlighted path shown here. Very nice.

Starts off pretty smooth but then has some hills towards the end with lots of loose rocks. Dog friendly. Pretty good trail for dogs. There are new signs for loops and additional trails in the area.

Was able to do a 3.8 mile loop with the new trails open. Volunteers did a wonderful job creating the new trails here. Thank you all who made this trail so nice, I know it took a lot of hard work to do so.

The wonderful trail volunteers have expanded the trails in this section. You can now make this a loop trail with a couple different length loops depending on how far you desire to go. It can be between 2 and 4 miles. Dog friendly. Easy terrain suitable for everyone between 4 and 84 years young. Thanks again to the volunteers who made this trail possible.

This trail has been recently expanded to double what is listed here. Great trail, about 3.5 miles. Easy hike. Allows dogs which is a huge plus for us!

Nice trail easily hiked but runs alongside a fairly busy road much of the way.
