First real hike as a family of 4. Joss hiked the whole time and Jade was in the old pack.
This is a nice simple hike. Some elevation gain and up some stairs in the hillside but not too bad. The different colors in the geology are amazing!
This trail was super cool. Loved the marked points of interest that related to the brochure at the trailhead. We took our time and the 1.3 loop was around 70 minutes. Other reports of mama and baby Bighorn sheep. Also wild Burros bit we only saw two deer on the drive into the trailhead. The visitors center was very cool!!
Easy hike, I would recommend it to people of most any capability. Well-marked trail through washes or along hilltops giving views of the Colorado River valley and surrounding hills. I would not recommend hiking this trail despite its short length June through August, even September depending on day time temperature.
