Trail itself is just an old road. With a high clearance vehicle (maybe with 4WD), you could probably actually drive all the way to the top of the road (to the point where the trail is ‘closed’). We did some additional exploring in addition to this stretch which lead to the higher rating. Views of the Supes, McDowells, Four Peaks and more were great. Lots of wild flowers!

Absolutely beautiful wildflowers - and I think it should be rated moderate due to the pretty constant incline. However, half of it is closed off. Also, no signage at trailhead. But for this app, I would not have known where to go.

After a short hike at the Sears Kay Ruin, I was looking for a second hike in the area and decided to give this trail a try even though there were no written reviews or photos. I was not expecting much, so I was pleasantly surprised. To get to the trailhead, you have to drive about a mile on a dirt road in a residential area. There is no parking so I just parked on the side of the road. I would rate this hike as moderate since there are some lengthy inclines along the way. It seems that this trail is very lightly trafficked - no one else around and very desolate once you get away from the homes. Very nice views and a good workout. There is no shade at all, so bring plenty of water.
