Great moderate loop which includes a summit, great views and Classic Sonoran Desert scenery. Multiple access points and other connecting trails allows for the loop to be changed if required. Awesome views and a great moderate workout. You can skip the 1/4 mile summit if desired, but would recommend taking the extra effort for the views. Watch out for mountain bikes which use the trails regularly. Take plenty of water (at least 2 liters) as there is no water available on these trails.

Great hike! Hiked this trail in early March. Weather was perfect but found no wildflowers. Same time last year was awesome with lots of wildflowers.

Ok, but quite boring. Very little diversity of views, terrain, vegetation, etc.
Trail was generally walker friendly and flat.

Fun hike! Not difficult. Some areas may be a little slippery. Plenty of joining trials to try also! You can make your hike as long or short as you prefer.

Good, new hiking trails in the area. The city obviously spent a lot of time and money to make this nice park for people to enjoy. You can hike, mountain bike, run, or ride your horses here. There's something for the whole family. Pretty desert scenery, which would probably be more enjoyable during a sunset or full moon. The trails themselves are a little boring though; not much challenge. This should be rated easy. I may have to get my bike out here and give it a spin.

great desert run - bring a cap and plenty of water (no shade on the trail) - trailhead is nicely marked as are the waypoints.

This is a good trail for trail running. The trails are pretty clear compared to other local hikes.

I was somewhat annoyed by the number of bikers and having to get out of their way so much. For that reason alone I do t think I will frequent this trail much.

This is a very good moderate hike which can include a summit for great views. The Ridgeback and summit is the moderate part of the hike, the rest is quite easy and relatively flat. The north side of the loop gets quite close to some houses which takes away from the otherwise remoteness of the trail. Multiple success points and lots of trails crossing this loop allows you to change the distance a little.
