This was my first solo hike, and only third hike since moving to AZ. Very easy to navigate, different types of terrain (dirt, smaller rocks, a few boulders) and appreciated the slight changes in elevation without it being difficult at any point. Good experience to get a solo hike in. Scenery was pretty, but nothing amazing.

Not very scenic, in my opinion. You get to the creek and blah.

This hike started out kind of boring. You have to cross the major highway and walk without any incline for a while. Because it had rained the week before, we had to cross several streams. The last half of the hike was great, with lots of elevation gain and great views. We wanted to keep goin but didn’t k is where the rest of the trail would go. On the way back, a man told us that we could have made it to the bottom and caught about her Trail to a road in Pine in fewer miles than it would take us to get back to the trailhead. We will check into it and go back if it works. There is a super gross bathroom at the trailhead and lots of good parking.

Not too impressed with this trail, but we didn’t complete it either.
